ML Educational Services to hold annual education fair this week

-

SIBU: ML Educational Services is inviting students, schoolleavers and their parents to its 48th Education Fair, going on across the state this week.

Tomorrow, it will take place at Pullman Hotel in Kuching, followed by Imperial Palace Hotel in Miri on Thursday, Dragon Inn in Sarikei on Friday, RH Hotel in Sibu on Saturday, and Promenade Hotel in Bintulu on Sunday.

Each venue will run the event from noon to 4pm. ML Educational Services has been hosting education fairs in Sarawak and Sabah several times every year.

“This fair has been helping students to make the right choice concerning their next education and their careers.

“It is a fine opportunity for school- leavers to expand their knowledge through free consultation on admission requirements, career pathways, availability of scholarships, student’s visas, accommodation arrangements and tuition fees.

“Students will be able to get the latest information about the institutions or the courses they are interested in, as well as to speak to the education consultants on their preferred courses,” said a ML Educational Services spokesperson in a recent release.

Students can get information about institutions in Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Russia as well as in Malaysia.

This information includes courses available, admission requirements, tuition fees, future prospects, scholarships and accommodation arrangement.

Students are advised to bring their forecast examination results, SPM/STPM result slips and relevant documents for accurate assessments by counsellors.

For students heading to Ireland – the only English- speaking country in the Eurozone and the European hub for leading global companies such as Google, Facebook and EA Games – it is ranked one of the friendliest countries in the world and one of the safest to be living in.

There are over 5,000 internat ional ly- recognised programmes and the Irish Graduate Scheme permits non- European Union ( EU) students to remain in Ireland for one year after their studies to work. There are also several scholarships available for international students from a wide variety of sources such as the Government of Ireland itself, Irish higher education institutions and other organisations.

On campus Hull, it offers international students excellent opportunities to secure guaranteed entry into the highly- respected Business and Engineering degrees at the University of Hull. The ‘ ONCAMPUS’, a part of Cambridge Education Group, operates successfully in preparing thousands of international students each year for university courses in the UK.

The ‘ONCAMPUS Hull’ provides international students with guaranteed progression to a range of Business and Engineering undergraduate degrees at the University of Hull, as well as the four-year integrated Master’s Degree in Engineering.

The University of Hull, founded in 1927, is one of the oldest and most- respected universities in the UK.
