RS1 team to meet the people on weekends, starting this Saturday

SIBU: The Rancangan Sibu 1 ( RS1) team will be holding meetthe-people sessions on weekends from tomorrow till Jan 21, 2018.

Team leader Dato Andrew Wong said the sessions will be held for seven consecutive weekends at different locations here.

“It is a platform for us to hear people’s complaints and inquiries, and to obtain feedback on various matters. We will have ready BR1M 2018 application forms for those who need it, and also help people to check their election voting status.

“Other assistance will include the recruitment of community police personnel, free eye screening, as well as free blood pressure and glucose screenings,” Wong told reporters yesterday.

Each session is from 9am till noon.

Wong said the first session is at Rejang Park Commercial Area (1Malaysia Clinic) on Dec 9, followed by Pulau Li Hua Commercial Area ( Poh Yew Garden) on Dec 10.

On Dec 16 and 17, it will be held at Taman Seduan Commercial Area ( Xinhua Garden) and Lada Commercial Area ( Pasar Grand Height), respectively.

The other areas are Sungai Merah Commercial Area (in front of Empire Gym) on Dec 23; Unicity Commercial Area ( Unicity shop lot) on Dec 30; Ulu Sungai Merah Commercial Area (in front of Wonderful shop lot) on Jan 6; Kampung Sentosa Commercial Area (mosque) on Jan 7; Kampung Jeriah Commercial Area on Jan 13; Belatok Commercial Area on Jan 14; Delta Swimming Pool Commercial Area (in front of Happiness Café) on Jan 20; and Kampung Bahagia Commercial Area ( Fair Price Supermarket) on Jan 21.
