Experience ‘Merry Poppins Christmas’ at tHe Spring
KUCHING: Shoppers can be certain that Christmas at tHe Spring Shopping Mall this year is sure to be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as the mall celebrates ‘ Merry Poppins Christmas’.
This year’s festive decorations are inspired by 1964’s Disney musical fantasy hit ‘Mary Poppins’ with the concourse decked out in Edwardian London’s cityscape.
The merriment of Christmas can be experienced with a stroll down Cherry Tree Lane-inspired pathway into the home of the Banks family at the West Court entrance.
“At the whimsical Merry Lane Bazaar, shoppers can tick off items from their Christmas list. The Christmas Bazaar booths feature an impressive selection of handcrafted gifts ranging from jewellery and accessories to pretty confectionery and artsy offerings,” said Datin Christine Ling who is general manager of tHe Spring Management Services Sdn Bhd.
Families can find festive entertainment for kids by registering them for activities such as Imagine Mary Colouring Contest, Tea Time with Mary, Christmas Craft Workshop hosted by Cloud- 99 with Rena Deco and the Christmas Carousel Workshop hosted by My Craft Studio and My Art Studio.
Making Christmas magical for the little ones, tHe Spring is giving them a chance to meet Mary & Bert at the Willow Tree located at the Centre Court.
