PBB Machan passes four resolutions
The inclusion is in order to plan and implement a comprehensive and sustainable economic, social and infrastructural development for the benefit of the people.
KANOWIT: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu ( PBB) Machan branch passed four resolutions during its triennial delegates meeting here yesterday.
PBB Machan advisor, who is also PBB supreme council member, Datuk Gramong Juna said the resolutions would be submitted to the top leadership of the party.
He said the first resolution was to fully support the top leadership of the party and for the posts of party president and two deputy presidents to be not contested.
In the second resolution, Gramong said the branch conveyed its appreciation to the state government for including Kanowit district as part of the newly formed Upper Rajang Development Agency ( Urda).

branch is firmly in support of the Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, in his talks and negotiations with the federal government in respect of the devolution of powers to the state and in all matters related to Malaysia Agreement 1963.
“The fourth resolution is the branch’s full confidence and support of Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas in resolving the various issues affecting native customary rights ( NCR) land especially on the question of ‘ pemakai menua’ (territorial/communal domain) and ‘pulau galau’ (forest reserves),” he said during the meeting yesterday.
PBB vice president and Zone 8 chief coordinator Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi officiated at the meeting.
PBB Zone 8 comprises nine party branches; namely Pakan, Meluan, Ngemah, Machan, Tamin, Pelagus, Katibas, Bukit Goram and Baleh.
At the meeting, Machan assemblyman Allan Siden Gramong was elected as PBB Machan branch chairman, taking over from Gramong who was the past chairman.
Among those present were Nanta’s wife Datin Angelina Ujang, Gramong’s wife Datin Catherine Gramong, Bukit Goram assemblyman Jefferson Jamit Unyat and political secretaries to the chief minister Petrus Igat and Tapah Ata.
