Telang Usan rep checks on students at IBS College

-

MIRI: Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau visited IBS College recently to find out how students from his constituency were doing.

He met the college’s principal and chief executive officer, Dr Antony Hii, and they discussed the progress of students, especially the Penans.

Dennis has shown his concern and support by awarding sponsorships and scholarships to some of the students from the rural areas.

Hii briefed Dennis on the courses available at IBS College, especially the Diploma in Security and Safety Management which is a good course for the rural students to consider.

This course is for those who have completed their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia ( SPM), and especially for those who wish to pursue a career in uniformed bodies.

IBS College provides business and finance programmes leading to certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, degree and Master’s levels with specialisations in Accounting and Finance, Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, International Business and Business Administration.

The college is the first private institution of higher learning in Sarawak to have available the Diploma in Security and Safety Management.

The next intake will commence on Jan 2 next year. For more information, call 085- 438666 /0128991207 (Ricky), email to info@ibs. edu.my, or visit www.ibs.edu.my.
