FIC business diploma programme offers pathways to employment, degree

-

MIRI: Graduates of Diploma in Business Studies ( DBS) from Fajar International College (FIC) have a wide range of employment opportunities in the business and commercial sectors.

This qualification is fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency ( MQA) and the Ministry of Higher Education ( MOHE), and has also gained other international recognitions.

According to FIC, this wellrounded business programme, which provides the fundamental aspects of business and management, is one of the most sought-after programmes in the college.

The syllabus covers every aspect of business including business management, accounting, human resources, operations, marketing and sales – providing students with sufficient knowledge and skills to face the challenges in the employment market, or to further their studies.

Equipped with communications and numeracy skills, students are prepared to succeed in the field.

Thus, graduates can find employment in almost all business sectors and fit well in positions like sales and marketing, administration, retail or wholesale operation.

Graduates from this programme can apply for direct entry into the degree programmes at any public or private university locally or abroad, with credits exemption.

Internationally, FIC’s Diploma in Business Studies is the equivalent to a second year Bachelor degree at some selected and reputable overseas universities, especially those in the UK and Australia. Some universities even accept it as entry requirement to their final year or top- up degree programme; thus enabling FIC students to graduate within only one academic year.

Enrolment is open now for FIC’s January 2018 intake. Financial assistance is available for deserving students.
