Swinburne Sarawak Campus to hold nationwide open day from Jan 6
KUCHING: Swinburne Open Day to be held nationwide provides an opportunity to learn more about the globally-ranked courses and student life in Kuching.
The first leg will kick off in Johor on Jan 6 at Prime City Hotel, Kluang from noon to 6pm, Jan 7 at Grand Paragon Hotel, Johor Bahru.
On Jan 12, the Open Day will be held at WEIL Hotel, Ipoh, followed by Ixora Hotel, Seberang Prai on Jan 13 and G Hotel Gurney, Penang on Jan 14 and at Grand Riverview Hotel, Kota Bahru on Jan 19.
In East Malaysia it will be held on Feb 3 at Livingston Hotel, Sandakan and at Hyatt Regency, Kota Kinabalu on Feb 4.
On March 11, Swinburne will hold its open day at Tanahmas Hotel, Sibu; March 18 at Pullman Miri Waterfront, Miri; ending on March 17 and 24 at the Swinburne Sarawak campus, Kuching. All events in East Malaysia will be held from 10am to 5pm.
Classes for 2018 will commence on Feb 26 for Postgraduate by Coursework and Degree courses, and April 9 for Foundation and Intensive English courses.
The Open Day will include free on- the- spot application; counseling by academic staff for courses in engineering, science, business, design, computing, language and communications from Foundation to Postgraduate levels; and advice about scholarships and financial aid for qualified students.
Students are advised to bring along their identification card and SPM forecast results (for Malaysians) or passport (for international students), and original certified copies of academic transcripts with grading system and English language proficiency test results for application purposes.
Located in Kuching, Swinburne’s Sarawak campus offers the same globally recognised Australian degrees awarded by Swinburne University of Technology’s home campus in Melbourne, Australia.
