Enrolment at PPKS and i-CATS Miri starts on Jan 8

MIRI: S a r awa k S k i l l s Development Centre ( PPKS) and the International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak ( i- CATS) Miri are calling for eligible students to register for their January 2018 intake from Jan 8 to end of this month.

Among the courses offered for the coming academic session are Malaysian Skills Certificate ( SKM) i n Me ch at r on i c s Level 2, Diploma in Business Administration, and Diploma in Plantation Management.

Requirements to enter the SKM course are applicants must have completed Form 5 with ability in reading, writing and arithmetic ( 3M).

To enter Diploma in Business Administration, they must have passed Bahasa Melayu and History in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia ( SPM) with at least three credits in any subject; and for Diploma in Plantation Management, they must have passed Bahasa Melayu and History in the SPM with three credits in any subject including Science.

Interested students who have completed Form 3 Assessment ( PT3) and SPM can come to the PPKS / i- CATS office at Block 1, MCLD, Shell Road, Lutong, Miri with a copy of identity card, birth certificate, PT3 / SPM / STPM results, school leaving certificate and three passport- sized photographs for registration starting Jan 8 to end of this month or apply online at www.ppks.edu.my.

There will be an open interview for Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and BTEC Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for the February 2018 session.
