KUCHING: Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusuf reminds contractors of Pan Borneo Highway work packages to adhere to the standard operating procedure ( SOP) to guide and ensure safety of road users and minimise inconveniences.

The measures should include installing barriers and putting up sufficient reflective materials, blinkers, notices and other signage, he said.

Fadillah was asked on the project’s progress at the ‘ leader with community and youth’ programme at Surau Al-Ansar Taman Yen Yen in Matang yesterday.

“The Pan Borneo Highway Project is ahead of time except for four work packages due to issues involving land. There are a total of 11 work packages and the rest are ahead of time.
