Kenneth Ma prefers to keep details of love life mostly confidential
HONG KONG: Actor Kenneth Ma, 43, prefers to keep it confidential when it comes to details of his relationship with actress Jacqueline Wong, 28.
Relationships should not be an open book, reckons Kenneth.
They have been together for promotional events, but neither has been forthcoming with details on how the romance is developing.
Explained Kenneth: “Things are going okay. Our relationship hasn’t encountered any problems. There isn’t really an issue with calling her my girlfriend. In her interviews, Jacqueline will not intentionally bring up this topic. If we’re going to talk about it, then it would be about marriage.”
But Kenneth said he is relaxed about paparazzi wishing to photograph them together.
Added Kenneth: “We just haven’t announced it (wedding date) yet, but I think everyone already understands. When we’re out having dinner together, we just let the paparazzi take pictures and we don’t really mind if people on the streets snap photos of us either. We’re pretty open about this.”
However, he draws a line when it comes to constantly talking about their relationship.
Said Kenneth: “It’s not necessary to give an explanation for everything because dating is between the two of us. As long as we’re comfortable with each other.”
Kenneth wants people to focus on their work as actors.
Kenneth is known to be very frugal when it comes to clothes and food, but is willing to splurge on a nice home for his family.
