Prizes for KTS/STIHL 50th anniversary colouring contest winners
KUCHING: Members of Stihl Advisory and Supervisory Board livened up the 50th anniversary celebration of KTS/STIHL when they attended a Colouring Contest held at Crown Square yesterday.
They presented prizes to the winners.
Elina Chua Wun Sze won under Group B in the 10 to 12year-old category, receiving her prizes from Stihl Advisory and Supervisory board member Selena Stihl.
Chua brought home a RM150 cash prize, trophy, 10 pieces of exercise books, a platypus mascot and a pack of colour pencils.
Cheh Szi Why and Eva Chung Jie were in second and third places. The two girls also received their prizes from Selena.
Cheh received a RM100 cash prize, trophy, 10 pieces of exercise books, a platypus mascot and pack of colour pencils; while Chung, RM60 cash, trophy, 10 pieces of exercise books, and a platypus mascot.
In Group A for the 7 to 9-year- old category, the winner was Yuki Chiong Ki Xin. She received RM150 cash, trophy, 10 pieces of exercise books, a platypus mascot and pack of colour pencils from Stihl executive board member (Marketing and Sales) Norbert Pick.
Pick also presented prizes to second and third placed winners Kee Phiong and Phua Yee Sian.
Kee received RM100 cash, a trophy, 10 pieces of exercise books, a platypus mascot and a pack of colour pencils; while Phua RM60, cash prize, trophy, 10 pieces of exercise books and a platypus mascot.
Forty other children in Groups A and B received consolation prizes from Selena and Pick. They each received RM30 cash, a plaque and 10 exercise books.
Earlier chairman of Stihl Advisory and Supervisory Board, Nikolas Stihl was interviewed by TEA FM.
Present at the prize-giving ceremony were Stihl head of Sales & Marketing Asia Region, Wendelin Ganter; managing director of Stihl Service Centre Southeast Asia, Tim Zhang; managing director of KTS Group of Companies, Dato Henry Lau; deputy managing director of KTS Group, Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau; and general manager of KTS Trading Sdn Bhd, Augustine Ling.
