RM88,888 worth of prizes up for grabs at Emart stores this CNY
KUCHING: Shop at Emart and save more during its promotion period for the coming Chinese New Year, starting today until Feb 15.
There are RM88,888 worth of prizes up for grabs along with a wide selection of CNY goodies such as cookies, Mandarin oranges, drinks, ‘bak gua’ (BBQ dried meat) and more. Hampers to be given to friends and business associates are also available.
Members who spend a minimum of RM88 at any of Emart’s tenant shops, supermarket and Xpress stores will be entitled to a ‘puppy’ stamp. Collect five puppy stamps to redeem a toy puppy for free.
At the same time, members who spend a minimum of RM88, along with those who register or renew their membership, will also be entitled to free angpow packets.
Members who spend RM88 and above will also be eligible to join the ‘Ong Ong Lucky Draw’, where they stand a chance to win prizes in the form of Emart cash vouchers worth RM1,888 ( first prize), RM1,388 (second prize), RM888 (third prize) and five consolation prizes worth RM388 each.
Combined receipts from Emart tenant stores are accepted.
More exciting prizes are up for grabs via Emart’s ‘Facebook Snap and Win Contest’, where participants stand a chance to win Emart cash vouchers worth RM888 (first prize), RM688 (second prize) and RM388 (third prize).
To enter, simply snap a photo of yourself in front of the pineapple display at Emart and post it on Facebook. The three photos with the most ‘likes’ will be selected as winners.
Participating outlets are Emart Batu Kawah and Emart Matang in Kuching, as well as Emart Tudan and Emart Riam in Miri.
All four Emart outlets will also see a special appearance by the ‘God of Fortune’ from Feb 2- 4 and Feb 9-11, as well as a lion dance performance on Feb 11 from 2pm to 4pm.
Meanwhile, a Chinese New Year bazaar will be set up from Jan 25 to Feb 14 from 10.30am to 10.30pm. Those selling ‘kek lapis’ ( layered cakes) and cookies are welcome to take up the few remaining booths by calling 010- 9727262.
