Hon Ang Restaurant offers CNY reunion packages

KUCHING: Hon Ang Restaurant is offering delicious dishes for the Chinese New Year’s Eve reunion dinner.

The first menu for 10 for the dinner on Feb 15 comprises Yee Sang, Seafood Hot Combinatio­n, Shark’s Fin with Dry Scallops and Crab Meat, Steamed Dragon Tiger Garoupa with Light Soya Sauce, Hong Kong Style Roast Duck, Braised Chinese Vegetables, and Salted Egg Prawns.

Priced at RM888, it is inclusive of mandarin oranges, Chinese tea, soft drinks, peanuts or another appetiser.

A second menu priced at RM1,388 comprises Yee Sang, Seafood Hot Combinatio­n, Kampung Chicken with Braised Shark’s Fin, Steamed White Pomfret with Light Soya Sauce, Roast Suckling Pig, Braised Chinese Vegetables, and Salted Egg Prawns.

The set is also inclusive of mandarin oranges, Chinese tea, soft drinks, peanuts or another appetiser.

Dinner will be served at 7pm and the ‘God of Wealth’ dance will be performed.

The options for takeaways include Yee Sang, Roast Chicken, Hong Kong Style Roast Duck, Braised Pork Leg, Braised Chinese Vegetables, Salted Egg Prawns, Sweet and Sour Seabass, Mui Choi Pork Belly, Mixed Vegetables, and Shark’s Fin Soup with Dry Scallops and Crab Meat.

Hon Ang also serves lunch from 11am to 1.30pm.

Menu 1 for two to three persons is RM48, comprising Steamed Seasonal Fish, Bean Curd with Vegetables, Seasonal Vegetables with Oyster Sauce, Hakka Pork, Special Daily Soup, and seasonal fruits.

Menu 2 priced at RM88 for four to six persons comprises Hong Kong Style Steamed Seasonal Fish, Seasonal Vegetables with Oyster Sauce, Mui Chai Pork, Bean Curd with Vegetables, Spicy Roast Chicken (half), Special Daily Soup, and fruits.

Menu 3 for eight to 10 persons comprising Seasonal Fish with Curry, Fried Seasonal Vegetables with Garlic, Spicy Pork Leg, Special Bean Curd, Crispy Dragon Chicken, Claypot Vietnamese Prawns, Special Daily Soup, and fruits is priced at RM138.

The lunch set menu should be booked in advance.

There are also five special karaoke rooms with excellent sound systems available.

The restaurant’s signature dishes are Two Special Roast Suckling Pig, Special Combinatio­n Vegetables, and Golden Prawns.

Hon Ang is ideal for company dinners, buffet style functions, friends and family gatherings, weddings, and birthday dinners.

There are 12 tables on the ground floor and 70 tables on the first floor.
