Senari Synergy hosts inaugural MPC CEO Coffee Talk in Sarawak, in collaboration with MPC
KUCHING: Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), hosted the first ‘CEO Coffee Talk in Sarawak’ Thursday.
MPC board director Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg, who officiated at the opening ceremony, thanked Senari Synergy for being the first industry player to come forward in hosting the session.
He also voiced out his hope for the CEO Coffee Talk to become an avenue for the ‘captains of the industry’ to express their thoughts and share their experiences with one another.
“By sharing the best practices, it is hoped that companies particularly in Sarawak would move to greater heights,” he said.
In his remarks, Senari Synergy Group managing director Jefri Ahmad Tambi said in undertaking a transformation exercise, it is crucial to instil in those participating that sense of purpose and clarity of company direction, as well as to develop good and transparent systems and processes.
“It is also of utmost important for an organisation to inculcate good corporate values.
“The assimilation of uncompromising integrity, exceptional performance and mutual respect as Senari Synergy’s new core values has significantly changed the way we do things in Senari Synergy,” he said.
Jefri hoped that the sharing of ‘that little experience’ acquired by Senari Synergy during its transformation exercise could be of value to other industries.
Within two years of its transformation programme, Senari Synergy has not only managed to have better brand presence as well as to improve its customer and staff satisfaction, but also managed to explore new business opportunities through the signing of at least six memoranda of understanding (MOUs).
In recognition of its transformation efforts, Senari Synergy received the Gold Award in the prestigious Sarawak Chief Minister’s Industry Excellence Awards 2017.
Additionally, Jefri was also one of the recipients of the ‘MPC Productivity Champion Award’ for his exemplary leadership in promoting productivity improvement.
