Goh said the run, supported by Bulatan Park Runners Club and Share Tea, would be held simultaneously at 6.15am with the virtual run to be held in Lawas for 20 runners.

The target is over 500 runners while Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Lee Kim Shin and Piasau assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting would officiate at the run.

“All runners including those in Lawas will be given t-shirt and those finishing the run will be given finisher medals.

We hope that the government sector and the general public will support this run, and also other fundraising projects for the roofing project so that the school will be able to provide the pupils and teachers with comfortable environment when carrying out activities such as morning assembly,” said Goh on Tuesday.

He added that work on the RM500,000-project is scheduled to start in June and completed in September this year.

“With the completion of the project in September, we will hold another fundraising event – a charity dinner to raise enough money for the project and the proposed parking lots in the school compound,” added Goh.
