Raymond Lam, Karena Ng finally speak up months after acrimonious break-up
HONG KONG: It’s been an acrimonious break-up with both parties being accused of being unfaithful, and both singeractor Raymond Lam and actress Karena Ng have finally cleared the air.
During the five years that they were together, Karena had to constantly deal with the disapproval of Raymond’s wealthy parents in Xiamen.
Raymond is now an item with model Carina Zhang, while Karena is reportedly with an unnamed entrepreneur with deep pockets.
Said Raymond, “Actually, Karena and I had broken up for some time. Give me some space and let my dating life flow naturally. I’ll focus on my work.”
Raymond said that while dating Karena, he had to scale back his career. He’s picking up the pace again. This year, he shall be filming three movies and a television drama in mainland China.
Last week, Raymond and model Carina Zhang, 28, were spotted at a theme park.
Asked by reporters if he is dating Carina, Raymond remained non- committal, and muttered “Thanks everyone for your concern. I won’t say anymore because then the reports won’t stop.”
It had been reported that Karena is romantically involved with businessman, Brian Shi, but she has yet to confirm this.
But Karena wrote online: “Thanks everyone for your concern and support. Please forgive me for using social media to make my one-time response. For five years, I was fully immersed in my relationship.
“It was really not easy to let go. Everyone, please give me space to adjust. I will face the future bravely.
“Hope everyone will continue to support me and pay attention to my work.”
