TNB Invites abstracts for technical papers for CEPSI 2018

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd ( TNB) is inviting abstracts for technical papers to be presented at the internationally prestigious Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry (CEPSI) 2018, from Sept 17- 22 in Kuala Lumpur.

TNB chief c or por at e officer, Datuk Wira Roslan Ab Rahman, said TNB would accept abstracts from professionals in the areas of the electricity supply industry, including project financing, technology development, policy formulation, renewable energy, software, system design and analytics, environmental impact assessment, and battery storage.

In a statement yesterday, he sai d the technic a l papers should be in any of eight categories, namely Sustainabi lity and Green Energy, Generation and Future Alternatives, Transmission and Future Grid, Distribution and Advanced Network, Smart Grid and New Technology, ICT and Innovation, Retail and Customer Service and Business Transformation and Others.

“Details about the categories and guidelines for submitting the abstracts and papers can be accessed from the CEPSI 2018 website at www.cepsi2018kl. org. Please submit your abstract by April 16,” he added.

Selected papers would be presented at the Technical Sessions of CEPSI 2018 to share case studies, on- site lessons and experiences, overviews of recent technologies and design strategies and industry best practices. — Bernama
