Mojuntin said: “The items in the agenda are comprehensive, all of which are meant to ensure a better tomorrow for the KDM communities.

“We are very excited; we are already on the right track towards a united KDM. This will also prove that we walk the talk.”

The formation of the council was agreed upon on Feb 26, 2018 during the PBS- Upko- PBRS Retreat which was officiated by Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.

Mojuntin declined to elaborate on the agenda, but it is understood that better cooperation between them in facing the upcoming general election would be among the top item.

“Our cooperation within the BN framework is an open secret.

“But now, with the council, I am optimistic we will be able to enhance further our camaraderie. We are all for unity,” he added.

Apart from Mojuntin, the meeting yesterday was also attended by PBS secretary general Datuk Johnny Mositun and their PBRS counterpart Datuk Dr Johnson Tee.
