IKBN Miri director Mohd Fauzi Ariffin said IKBN Miri is participating in the race to promote to the community that IKBN Miri is not just a place of skills training, but can be a centre of technology development especially in the automotive sector.

“This is a great platform for IKBN Miri to bring together, exposing to the world outside, the innovation of teachers and students,” Mohd Fauzi told The Borneo Post when met after officiating at the takeoff ceremony of the institute racing team on Wednesday.
IKBN Miri Racing Team comprises Abdul Rasyeed Idris as team manager and seven students.
“The team is sending three motorcycles to compete in two categories: two motorcycles will in Pro Street while one in the Pro Drag.
