Telekom Malaysia opens TAD outlet at UTC Kuching
KUCHING: Telekom Malaysia Berhad(TM) customersin Sarawak can now enjoy more convenience with the opening of a new TMpoint Authorised Dealer ( TAD) at the Urban Transformation Centre ( UTC) Kuching located at Jalan Bukit Mata here.
This latest TAD outlet was officially opened by TM Sales and Service Sdn Bhd ( TSSSB) chief executive officer Sudirman Walid together with Christopher Than, the owner of CLZ Resources (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, the company that operates the outlet.
“With the opening of our new TAD outlet in Kuching, TM now has a total of four TAD outlets in Sarawak to cater to the needs of our customers,” Sudirman said.
He pointed out that the TAD outlet provides similar services to TMpoint outlets but on a smaller scale.
“Our TAD outlets are located at strategic public areas nationwide, and this enables more of our customers to enjoy TM service offerings, make various transactions with TM as well as have convenient access to TM’s customer service assistance. This reflects our continuous effort to deliver the best service experience, true to our promise, ‘ Life Made Easier’,” he explained.
The TMpoint Authorised Dealer programme ( TAD programme) is an initiative by TM and its subsidiary, TSSSB to continuously expand the network of its 98 TMpoint outlets nationwide, especially in areas where TMpoint outlets are not available.
“Our TAD programme applies the Dealer Owned, Dealer Operated concept where the outlet is independently managed by our appointed dealers. The initiative provides the opportunity for our authorised dealers to set up their own outlets with the support of TM, opening up more business and employment opportunities to local SMEs and communities.
This further emphasises TM’s focus on enhancing our customer service experience while at the same time playing its role in the community development,” said Sudirman.
To date, TM has a total of 96 TAD outlets and 98 TMpoint outlets nationwide.
