Hasbi shows son’s true love for mother
LIMBANG: A son’s love for his mother was demonstrated by Limbang BN candidate Hasbi Habibollah when he was seen pushing his wheelchair-bound 84-year- old mother Norsinah Abdul Latif to the polling centre at SK Melayu Pusat, Limbang yesterday.
Besides driving his mother to the polling centre he also brought along his wife Elsi Marlisa Abdullah.
Norsinah cast her vote at 8.42am while Hasbi and Elsi cast their votes at 8.52am.
Hasbi is a second-term member of parliament for Limbang and is seeking re- election for the third term.
The good weather prompted voters to come in big numbers at all 69 polling stations in Bukit Kota, Ng Medamit and Batu Danau.
“The good weather and the good mood will be a good sign for the people to go down and cast their votes,” Hasbi told The Borneo Post when met at SK Melayu Pusat, Limbang.

Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang cast his vote at Kampung Ukong community hall in Batu Danau at 10am after which he visited other polling stations at Batu Danau and Ng Medamit.
PKR Candidate Dr Ricardo Yampil Baba arrived at Kampung Bidang, Batu Danau at 7.40am and cast his vote at 8.03am.
