Rogayah said the objectives of the uptown night market is to spruce up the ambience at ‘Taman Selera Harmoni’, apart from providing opportunities for parttime traders to supplement their income.
Meanwhile, Taman Selera Harmoni Sibu Muslim Traders Association chairman Abdul Taib Rosli believes that the night market will draw more customers to the food court.
“This is the first uptown night market in Sibu with traders from various backgrounds under one roof. It can attract people from all walks of life and indirectly attract people to dine at ‘Taman Selera Harmoni’,” Abdul Taib opined.
He reckoned that the new trading concept may attract more youths to venture into business.
