The Art of Living Foundation is an international nongovernmental organisation (NGO) founded in 1981.
It is one of the largest volunteerbased, non- profit, educational, charitable and humanitarian foundations. It plays an active role in personal stress and trauma management through its unique breathing technique (Sudarshan kriya).
The Art of Living Kuching Centre was set up in 2009 and is located at Jalan Rumbia, Kuching.
The centre constantly promotes Sudarshan kriya and stress management techniques through personal development courses and free workshops to the public, schools and various corporate organisations.
Apart from operating in Kuching, the centre has also organised courses in other divisions of Sarawak such as in Sibu and Miri.
An introductory talk and workshop was held yesterday (May 15) at Dewan Serbaguna SJK Chung Hua Serian, to let the public understand and experience the power of breathing in managing emotions and stress.
Thereafter, a breathing technique course will be carried out from May 20-22 in Serian. Those who are interested are encouraged to attend the introductory talk to know more. For further enquiries, call Jason (the centre’s coordinator) at 0162055287.
