Sarawak impresses at IMEX Frankfurt
FRANKFURT: Sarawak’s Redefining Global Tribes team made an astounding impression at Business Events global professionals at IMEX Frankfurt; the very heart of global convergence of meetings, incentives and business travel, from May 14-17.
“Redefining Global Tribes ( RGT) unites Business Events communities for a stronger identity within the global economy. The core value of the campaign, which was communicated through our specially made conference tag ribbons and exclusive RGT badges, was very well received,” said Amelia Roziman, chief operating officer of the Sarawak Convention Bureau through a press statement yesterday.
“We have received overwhelming feedback on our campaign. As a 2nd tier destination, Sarawak is glad to champion this summon. We are hopeful and excited to produce more RGT merchandise for greater reach in our upcoming tradeshows,” she added.
Sarawak, also represented by sector partners CPH Travel Agencies, The Ranee Boutique Suites, The Marian Boutique Lodging House as well as the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching ( BCCK), was charged with connecting around 3,500 exhibitors representing over 150 countries, and was announced as the ‘ largest ever’ by Ray Bloom, chairman of the IMEX Group at the tradeshow’s opening ceremony.
