It was officially launched yesterday by Datin Patinggi Dato Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, wife of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

Also present were Sarawak Islamic Council president Datu Misnu Taha, Lembaga Baitulmal dan Wakaf chairman Datu Putit Matzen, Tabung Baitumal general manager Datu Abang Shibli Abang Naili.

The month-long fest which kicked off on May 17 will end on June 14.

All 38 booths inside the mall and 55 in the canopy area set up outside are selling various items including Muslim apparel for men and women, food, health products, automotive parts, and costume jewelry.

On weekends, shoppers can enjoy the ‘Gema Aidilfitri’ campaign, where those who spent RM50 and above in a single receipt stand a chance to win prizes of up to RM10,000.

Majma Mall also has eateries, allowing shoppers to break fast and a ‘surau’ where they can pray.
