Mega Hotel offers ‘Ramadan Al-Mubarak’ buffet dinner
MIRI: Mega Hotel is having ‘ Ramadan Al- Mubarak’ buffet dinner for the breaking of fast at its Chatterbox Coffee House from 6pm to 9.30 pm.
The buffet offers over 60 delectable dishes that are changed daily for patrons to savour different dishes throughout the week,” said Mega Hotel sales and communication manager Jenny Chen.
To start the breaking of fast are ‘air selasih, air bandung and ais batu campur’, followed by main dishes of local and western favourites. These include scrumptious homemade ‘ bubur pedas’, ‘ pasembur’, grilled ‘ terubuk’, laksa Sarawak, mee jawa, assorted satay with condiments, ‘ hitam manis’ style beef, ‘ lemak cili padi’ crab, squid stew, ‘masak merah’ lamb, roasted lamb shoulder with garlic rosemary sauce, roast short ribs with mushroom sauce, buttered prawn and many more.
“To wrap up the dinner are mouth-watering desserts of Malay ‘ kuih-muih’, ‘ tapai pulut’, ‘ bubur manis’, bread pudding, cakes and of course, assorted icecream,” said Jenny.
The Ramadan buffet dinner is priced at RM65 nett per adult and RM33 nett per child aged five to12 years old.
“There are also early bird vouchers available for sale at RM55 nett per adult and RM 28 nett per child ( 5-12 years old) obtainable from the coffee house before May 31,” she added. However, the voucher is not valid on the day of purchase and is subject to the terms and conditions. On top of that, for every group of eleven persons, one dines for free.
‘Sahur’ buffet is also available daily from 3am to 5am at the price of RM28 nett per adult and RM15 nett per child aged five to 12 years old. For reservations, contact the hotel at 085- 432432.
Meanwhile, the hotel hosted members of the press at the Ramadan buffet last Tuesday, as appreciation for their support. Among those present at the session were Jenny and the hotel assistant communications manager, Nur Faiza Adie.
