Marble furniture, art exhibition in Myy Mall
MIRI: Marble and arts dealer Zenyie Furniture is back in Miri with many high quality natural marble dining sets and oil paintings at Myy Mall, Lutong from 30 May to July 1.
The exhibition held in conjunction with Gawai Dayak and Hari Raya showcases round, rectangular or oval marble dining sets with prices maintained at RM880 to RM7000 despite higher cost according to proprietor Ng Kim Hoi.
Most of these dining sets are made in Ipoh, Perak but the highlight is a huge 6-foot crystal white marble dining set from Vietnam that looks translucent when light is shone on the marble slab.
Ng explained that marble dining sets have gained popularity for its natural beauty and durability.
Marble slabs are carved from hills then polished to high gloss finish with only the best selected to be made into furniture. For the footing Ng said, customers can opt for rubber or Nyatoh wood.
A free oil painting will be given for every purchase of a marble dining set with Nyatoh wood footing.
Granite dining sets which is scratch resistant and hard are also available at the exhibition as well as new arrivals of oil paintings of landscapes and nature from China and Vietnam at reasonable prices.
