Little Kumang, Keling winners crowned
KUCHING: Criselda Lim Xuan Ting, aged six, won the recent Little Kumang and Little Keling pageant with a traditional dance.
Lim, from Smart Reader Kids Taman Yen Yen, presented the ‘Tarian Kipas Menuai Padi’, which symbolises farmers during the harvest season.
Issabelle Semanjan, aged five, and Caden Lugan Kaba, aged six, from Smart Reader Kids Jalan Penrissen and Smart Reader Kids Uni Garden, Kota Samarahan came in second and third.
Smart Reader Kids Taman Yen Yen pupil Azriq Hapni won the Gawai Colouring Contest.
Smart Reader Worldwide and Vivacity Megamall organised the competition to mark Gawai Dayak.
