MJC show houses open during Aidilfitri

KUCHING: MJC City Developmen­t’s One Residency and SkyVilla show houses will be open for viewing this Hari Raya Aidilfitri break.

From tomorrow (June 15) until Sunday (June 17), prospectiv­e homeowners who wish to view the show houses can make an appointmen­t.

A press release yesterday said MJC will hold a series of events, activities, and contests offering prizes such as a free trip to Paris, as well as the ‘ Spot the Car’ contest, which offers an RM200 cash voucher every month in connection with Aidilfitri.

The new phase of One Residency, consisting of double- storey terraced houses and threestore­y townhouses, is ready with occupation permits issued.

One Residency’s facilities include clubhouse, swimming pool, tree house, outdoor Jacuzzi, gymnasium, barbecue area, jogging tracks, and comprehens­ive security.

SkyVilla, nestled on 11 acres, is a low- density condominiu­m developmen­t consisting of only five blocks of which the latest Block D – Ohanna comprises 16 floors with eight units each.

The Ohanna units, which are expected to be completed by the end of the year, feature different styles of layout ranging from three to four bedrooms, while the sizes are between 998 square feet and 1,380 square feet.

The condominiu­m facilities include rooftop garden, mini theatre, aqua-therapy swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, barbecue pit, and gymnasium.

MJC is also offering a special rebate and renovation subsidy for Papillon, the first street mall in Kuching, has 86,880 square feet of retail space for fashion, food, and lifestyle stores across two floors with escalators (subject to terms and conditions).

Ground floor commercial units are available for investment at a low start-up cost.

The developer called on prospectiv­e investors not to miss out on the current ‘ tax holiday’, which will end once the Sales and Services Tax (SST) is implemente­d in September.
