Everus inks deal with PayCaddie to break into US market

-

KUALA LUMPUR: Blockchain company, Everus Technologies Sdn Bhd, has inked a deal with North America’s largest payment processor and integrator service company, PayCaddie LLC, to provide and also collaborate to process its EVR cryptocurrency at retail locations in the United States (US).

The partnership with Paycaddie would enable US merchants to accept EVR payments and allow users to pay for goods and services directly from their EVR wallets.

In a statement yesterday, Everus chief executive officer Srinivas Oddati said the partnership would lay the foundation for Everus to expand into the US market and give the company unprecedented access, reach and exposure.

“We believe that this partnership will be an extremely fruitful one for both Everus and PayCaddie as

we work to increase the awareness, acceptance and usability of cryptocurrency, especially EVR,” he said.

In breaking into the US market, Everus said it planned to create a network of over 500,000 merchants and outlets that accept EVR as payment, adding that the collaboration would enable

the company to create synergies and opportunities through PayCaddie‘s channels and partnerships.

The blockchain company has also begun its expansion into South Korea, with an official launch event set to take place in Seoul later this year. — Bernama
