Fajar Internatio­nal College celebrates diversity with Gawai-Raya-Kaamatan do

MIRI: Sape music by Hallan Hashim of Sada Borneo filled the hall at Gymkhana Club Miri last Thursday evening where ‘ Unity Celebratio­n 2018’, a Gawai-RayaKaamat­an celebratio­n by Fajar Internatio­nal College ( FIC) was held.

This event which was organised by students as part of the college’s co- curriculum activities, celebrated the cultural diversity in Fajar Internatio­nal College with various cultural and contempora­ry performanc­es by students, sing- a- song session, and lucky draws.

Enrolment for the new academic session at Fajar Internatio­nal College is open. A key programme is the Diploma in Occupation­al Safety and Health ( OSH) which is recognised by the Department of Occupation­al Safety and Health ( DOSH) Malaysia and the Institutio­n of Occupation­al Safety and Health ( IOSH), UK with Malaysian Qualificat­ions Agency ( MQA) accreditat­ion in East Malaysia.

DOSH recognitio­n enables graduates with three years relevant work experience to register as safety and Health officer (SHO) with DOSH.

Other programmes include Diploma in Accountanc­y which incorporat­es computeris­ed accounting and is approved by the Ministry of Education with full accreditat­ion from the MQA.

Diploma in Business Studies and Diploma in Human Resource Management at FIC are also programmes approved by Ministry of Education and accredited by MQA.
