Association opens application for annual education incentive

MIRI: The Miri Foochow Association will give out its yearly education incentive to children of members who excelled in their academically at the association’s centre on Aug 19.

For the kindergarten category, those who rank in the top three positions in their class or obtained an average mark of 95 or As in all subjects are eligible to apply for the incentive.

Those in Primary 1 to Primary 6 with 5As and 2Bs or more (in Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics, Pendidikan Moral, Science subjects) are eligible for the incentive.

Students who obtain 5As and 2Bs (for SJK) or 5As (for SK) in UPSR examination are also eligible.

The top three secondary school student in their class from Form 1 to Form 6 for two consecutive terms, with an average mark of 80 and above and scored credits in all subjects are eligible for the incentive.

For PT3 level, students who scored a minimum of six As and one B or above are eligible to apply.

For SPM certificate holders, those who scored a minimum of seven As or above are eligible.

The association will give a special award to STPM certificate holders who obtained all As in the examination.

All applications must include the original result slip and a photocopy with a stamp of verification and signature from their respective school’s principal.

All applications must be handed to the association’s office at Jalan Jee Foh Utama on or before the closing date on August 4 by 11am.
