Idris: Be united to champion Sarawak’s rights
KOTA SAMARAHAN: Muara Tuang assemblyman Datuk Idris Buang has called on all Sarawakians to be united in championing the rights of the state.
According to him, it is important to ensure that the new federal government under Pakatan Harapan ( PH) recognises and does not neglect the rights of all Sarawakians, regardless of their race and religion.
“I hope the federal government does not deny the rights of Sarawakians and as an elected representative of the state, I will fight them for the sake of the descendants of the people of Sarawak in accordance with the constitution and the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63),” he said.

He was speaking at an event called ‘ Berambeh Gawai Raya with the Community’ organised by the Samarahan Resident’s Office and Kota Samarahan Municipal Council ( MPKS) at Kampung Mang here on Friday which was officiated by Kota Samarahan MP Rubiah Wang.
Apart from villagers of various races and religions, the event was also attended by Samarahan Resident Ibrahim Lumpu, MPKS chairman Dato Peter Minos and Samarahan district officer Mohd Ainnie Wahab.
