SeDidik introduces Fardhu Ain Islamic class for Muslim children

-

MIRI: SeDidik has added the Fardhu Ain Islamic class for Muslim children to its services in line with its co- parental responsibility to ensure holistic development of children.

According to its general manager Nor Ashikin Abdul Rahman, the Fardhu Ain Islamic class started in 2012 with one centre and was expanded to 10 other centres in Miri, Limbang and Lawas by 2018.

She said the class aims to educate and nurture children aged four to six years to practise Islamic teachings in their daily life apart from enhancing the existing Islamic Religious Education programmes and modules as a whole.

“This class is also expected to further enhance the application of moral values in children from their young age so as to prevent them from negative elements.

“The curriculum is based on the National Preschool Standard Curriculum ( KSPK) as well as supplementary programmes from SeDidik which are learning and memorising the surah, ways to perform prayers and learning to write the Jawi,” she said during the launch of the SeDidik Fardhu Ain class in conjunction with ‘ Program Bicara Ilmu SeDidik 2018’ with renowned speaker Dato Mohd Kazim Elias at Masjid Darul Istiqamah Kampung Luak here last Saturday.

Among the centres participating in the Fardhu Ain class are Tadika SeDidik Perdana Miri, Tadika SeDidik Perdana Hospital Miri, Tadika SeDidik Perdana Limbang, Tadika SeDidik Perdana Lawas, Tadika SeDidik Mutiara Kampung Luak Miri, Tadika SeDidik Mutiara Lembah Hijau Jalan Riam Miri, Tadika SeDidik Mutiara Pujut Tanjung Batu Miri, Tadika SeDidik Mutiara Pujut Adong Miri, Tadika SeDidik Mutiara Pangkalan Lutong and Tadika SeDidik Mutiara Tunku Abdul Rahman Lambir.

Nor Ashikin said the class is open to children aged four to six and to non-Tadika SeDidik children as well.

It is conducted twice a week – every Wednesday and Friday from 12pm to 1.30pm with a minimal fee of RM25 per month ( SeDidik children) or RM30 per month (non- SeDidik children).

“We have experienced, qualified and caring teachers for the Fardhu Ain class and there will be no homework, thus it is not burdensome for the children in which they will also learn in a fun and comfortable environment,” she explained.

Those interested can go to the nearest Tadika SeDidik for further information and registration or call 085- 622801 or WhatsApp/SMS to 019- 4995073.
