Two motorcyclists injured in separate road accidents

KUCHING: A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after a collision with a car along Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli, here yesterday.

The victim was travelling alone when the accident happened around 11am, leaving him with scrapes to his face and legs.

Passers-by came to his aid and helped summon an ambulance which sent him to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for treatment.

Meanwhile, an unrelated incident saw another motorcyclist also sustaining minor injuries following a crash early yesterday.

The victim, in his 20s, was travelling alone when his bike went out of control and crashed along Jalan Telaga Air shortly past midnight.

Personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) were deployed to the scene following a distress call, and subsequently sent the victim to SGH for medical attention.
