Trust board receives RM50,000 from Naim as part of CSR

MIRI: Naim Group of Companies, through its charitable trust fund Tabung Amanah Naim, recently contribute­d RM50,000 to Miri Malay Welfare Trust Board (LAKMM).

The contributi­on was handed over during a ceremony witnessed by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg and wife Datin Patinggi Dato Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang.

Representi­ng Naim for the handing over was its advisor Charles Bateman, who presented the mock cheque to LAKMM chairman Datuk Abdillah Abdul Rahim.

Bateman in his speech said

We have a strong outreach programme to connect with the less fortunate members of the community, trying to assist them in ways we can as we strongly believe in giving back to society. Charles Bateman, Naim Group of Companies advisor

Naim operates with a strong awareness of its corporate social responsibi­lity.

“We have a strong outreach programme to connect with the less fortunate members of the community, trying to assist them in ways we can as we strongly believe in giving back to society.

“This is beyond corporate social responsibi­lity – this is from our hearts, driven by a passion to make a difference in people’s lives.

“We hope that our contributi­on would be able to facilitate LAKMM’s noble efforts in assisting those in need, and we look forward to a continuati­on of such efforts in time to come,” he said.
