Woman, male friends busted for drug abuse in police raid

LIMBANG: Four acquaintances were detained Tuesday afternoon during an operation by police here on suspicion of abusing drugs.

District police chief Supt Mohd Bukhori Saffai said the suspects – three men and a woman – were detained around 4.30pm at Kampung Bangkita.

“The four, aged between 29 and 48, were brought to the police station for testing and found to be positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine,” he said yesterday.

He also disclosed that all four suspects had prior records for drug-related offences.

Police have classified the investigation under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
