Toshiba releases new Schottky diode for power supply circuits

KUALA LUMPUR: Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation (Toshiba) launched a new Schottky barrier diode product – CUHS10F60 – for use in the rectification and backflow prevention in power supply circuits.

The device features a low thermal resistance in its newly developed US2H package with packaging code ‘SOD-323HE’. The thermal resistance is also reduced by about 50 per cent compared to the conventional USC package, enabling easier thermal design, a statement said.

The maximum reverse current for the device also has been reduced by around 60 per cent which contributes to a lower power consumption in applications with additional of reverse voltage increased from 40V to 60V.
