UCSI to hold roadshow in Sibu

SIBU: UCSI and GES Global Educationa­l Services will hold the UCSI Sarawak Roadshow here today (July 13) at the GES Global office from 1pm to 5pm.

UCSI Faculty of Medicine and Health Science lecturer Dr Normina Ahmad Bustami said UCSI’s ever- developing internatio­nal profile is being pushed by advances in learning, research, and teaching.

“Thus, UCSI academics progressiv­ely win research and publicatio­n awards, while its best students are selected each year for research programmes at Harvard University,” she told a press conference yesterday.

She said UCSI is an active community of learning that also provides students with scholarshi­ps.

“The university opens doors for thousands of students each year and supplies the human capital that meets – and exceeds – the demands of the Malaysian economy and the global market,” she said.

Normina added that UCSI is the top 500 of the QS Asian University Rankings.

Among those present at the press conference were GES Global Educationa­l Services representa­tives Mindy Ting, David Ha, and Jowei Ling, as well as UCSI Faculty of Pharmaceut­ical Science lecturer Yap Chuan Sheng.

The UCSI Sarawak Roadshow will be in Kuching tomorrow (July 14), Miri on Sunday (July 15 July), Kota Kinabalu on July 21, and Sandakan on July 22.
