Asian Tapas available at Pullman Miri
MIRI: What better way for foodies to taste various dishes without feeling full other than to head down to Pullman Miri Waterfront and dive into Miri’s fi rst small-plate dining experience at a very reasonable price.
Asian Tapas with price ranging from RM5 nett to RM15 nett each is something not to be missed and the concept was introduced by the Tawau born executive chef Nelson Ray, a highly trained chef with more than two decades of experience under his belt in the culinary and hospitality industry.
Originating from Spain, Tapa or Tapas are small portion meals circling around quality over quantity and at Pullman Kitchen, the selection of tapas are served with a blend of Asian flavours, hence the theme Asian Tapas.
With 26 delectable dishes including three assorted dim sum plates, Asian Tapas comes with a wide range of dishes to savour.
According to Nelson, the best seller dishes since they start the promotion on July 1 are the mouth-watering sauté mussel with basil, basil fried rice, ‘ayam goreng berempah’, Loh Mai Gai, stuffed chicken with seafood, assorted dim sum, the authentic ‘ Laksa Sarawak’ and the succulent lamb cutlet with hoisin and rosemary.
“The plates feature a fusion of succulent Malaysian dishes infused with western influence and takes a maximum of 10 minutes to prepare each dish,” said Nelson.
Among the Asian Tapas menus are fried rice belacan, ‘ mee kolok’ with chicken, vegetable tempura with orange mayonnaise, chicken or beef satay with peanut sauce, butterfly prawn with drippings, mini beef steak with fries and brown sauce and many more.
