Its pro tem president, Mohamad Safree Mohamad Kassim, told a press conference here yesterday that the meeting will start at 9am in the Navy’s representative office at Tanah Putih, Pending Road.

“PVTLDMS’ registration was approved by Veterans Affairs Department (JHEV) on April 11, this year. The pro tem committee has collectively consented that the election of all posts be open to all ex-navy personnel who are attending the meeting.”

“We all share the same objective of safeguarding the welfare of veterans and joining hands to assist JHEV,” he said.

Commenting further, he said they are opening up counters in collaboration with JHEV for replacement of old veterans cards.

Also present at the press conference were pro tem deputy president Abdul Gapor Awang Ratu, vice-president 1 Mohamad Nasir Mohamad Kassim, secretary Sali Uin and treasurer Augustine Jadam Bungsu.
