Curtin Malaysia’s Semester 2 intake for foundation studies underway
MIRI: School leavers keen to pursue foundation studies at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) may apply for its Semester 2 intake before classes commence on Aug13.
Curtin Malaysia offers quality undergraduate programmes in engineering and science, business and humanities identical to those at its main campus in Perth at affordable Malaysian fees.
Its one-year foundation programmes in Engineering, Science, Commerce and Arts (Media) prepares students for undergraduate studies. All are recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
“Degrees from Curtin Malaysia are awarded directly by the main campus, and undergraduates can transfer to the main campus or Curtin’s other international campuses in Singapore, Dubai and Mauritius to complete their degrees,” said Curtin Malaysia in a statement Friday.
Students who pass Foundation Studies in Commerce may pursue Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce, while those who completed Foundation Studies in Arts may pursue Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication).
Foundation Studies in Engineering and Foundation Studies in Science prepare students for undergraduate study in the Bachelor of Engineering (with Honours), Bachelor of Technology (Computer Systems & Networking); and Bachelor of Science (Applied Geology). Students have the option to enrol for Bachelor of Business Administration; Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts programmes.
Curtin Malaysia Foundation Scholarships and Curtin Malaysia Merit Scholarships provide tuition fees waiver for those with outstanding results in the SPM, STPM, O-Level, A-Level and UEC examinations. Full details may be obtained at scholarships. curtin.edu.my.
Students and parents are invited to visit its campus here to find out more about the current intake between 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.
Potential students are advised to bring their examination results for assessment and on-the-spot applications.
