She added that the training was the beginning of the formation of Speakers Bureau of Division S that consists of 10 seasoned speakers of Toastmasters.
The Speakers Bureau would proactively organize workshops, training and skills to add value to members of Division S.
“There are 15 clubs in Division S with over 300 active members,” she disclosed.
She advised members of the public who wish to learn to be effective leaders and public speaking skills to look for a club that is suitable for their interest through Toastmasters.org.

“The world needs leaders. Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate. By regularly giving speeches, gaining feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters programme.
“Every Toastmasters journey begins with a single speech. During their journey, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and answer. They plan and lead. They give feedback – and accept it. Through our community of learners, they fi nd their path to leadership,” she enthused.
Meanwhile, Toastmasters International has more than 352,000 members. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 16,400 clubs in 141 countries.
