KUCHING: The Pakatan Harapan ( PH) government has been urged to give a clear direction of its policies instead of blaming the previous administration to gain support of the people.

Malay Businessmen and Industrialists Association of Malaysia ( Perdasama) deputy president Dato Sohaimi Sahahdan said as of now, business entities in the country are still waiting for the government to outline its vision.

The PH government needs to act fast and outline what they their plans and policies are.

This is vital to ensure that business entities can adapt to the changes,” he said to reporters after officiating the annual general meeting of Perdasama Sarawak here yesterday.

Sohaimi said it is also important that ministers not issue statements that trigger worries and deep concern among the business community.

“There were several statements made by new ministers that seem to be plucked from the air and clearly made without proper research,” he said, adding he was speaking on behalf of business communities nationwide.

HecalledonPerdasamamembers to support the government of the day and to understand the difference between business and politics.
