Petra Jaya MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, who asserted this yesterday, even jested that GPS could stand for Global Positioning Sarawak to put Sarawak in a better position.

“We will continue to fight for Sarawak and make Sarawak a developed state,” he said before Chief Minister Abang Johari Tun Openg launched Majlis Qurban Aidiladha at Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu ( PBB) Satok branch along Jalan Kulas here.

Fadillah, who is PBB senior vice president, said the party alongside GPS will not stop advocating for what Sarawak deserves.

He pointed out that whatever fight that PBB and GPS engage in is for advancement in Sarawak and better benefits for Sarawakians.

“We fight for not just PBB but Sarawak as a whole,” said the former works minister.

On the event, Fadillah said the party had been organising such activity to celebrate Hari Raya Haji with the local community.

At the function, Abang Johari handed out packets of sacrificial meat to residents of various villages in Satok area.

Apart from PBB, GPS is made up of Sarawak United People’s Party ( SUPP), Parti Rakyat Sarawak ( PRS) and Progressive Democratic Party ( PDP).
