Naim, Maybank to jointly hold blood donation drive

BINTULU: Naim Group of Companies and Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) will jointly hold a blood donation drive tomorrow (Aug 25) from 10am till 3pm at Naim The Peak Condominiu­m, Naim Bintulu Paragon here.

Naim’s regional manager for Bintulu, Abang Mahathir Mohamed in a media release said that as a responsibl­e corporate entity, Naim has always operated with an awareness of the interest of the communitie­s within which it operates.

“This campaign is organised to make people more aware of what they can do to contribute to the betterment of our community. In fact, we want people to realise that one pint of blood can help save up to three lives,” he said.

Members of the public who are fit to donate blood are encouraged to take part in the campaign. The organisers aim to collect through this campaign 100 pints of blood for the Bintulu Hospital’s blood bank.

Light refreshmen­ts will be provided to all donors and those interested to take the opportunit­y to visit Naim The Peak’s condominiu­m show units can also do so on that day after the blood donation event.
