Send your KJA 2018 entries early, media folk reminded

SIBU: Entries for this year’s Kenyalang Journalism Awards ( KJA) must reach the secretariat by Sept 7.

In giving this reminder, the Federation of Sarawak Journalists Association ( FSJA) president Jane Moh advises fellow members of the Sarawak media fraternity to send their entries earlier than the stated deadline.

The associations affiliated with FSJA are Kuching Division Journalists Association ( KDJA), FSJA Sibu and Northern Sarawak Journalists Association ( NSJA).

For KJA 2018, the entries from Kuching should be submitted to the KDJA under the charge of Jacqueline David, while those from the northern region ( Miri, Limbang and Lawas) should be addressed to NSJA at Lot 804 Block 4, MCLD Jalan Cattleya 3, Piasau Industrial Estate, 98000, Miri, Sarawak.

The entries from the central region should reach FSJA Sibu at address Wisma See Hua 40, Tuanku Osman Road, 96000 Sibu, Sarawak.

Articles, broadcast programmes or features sent as entries must only be those published between Jan 1 and Dec 31 last year.

For the Digital Economy Journalism Awards, the entries must be those published between Sept 1 last year and June 30 this year.

The categories are divided into print, online and broadcast media.
