Although Sukma XIX is just 13 days away, the first batch of SDOs and the secretariat staff will be leaving as early as on Sept 4 in order to set up Sarawak’s contingent’s operations centre in Ipoh.

Sarawak’s football team will be the first to leave early for Perak in order to prepare for their Group A matches that will kick off on Sept 8 at Manjung District Stadium in Tanjung Manjung.

Sarawak’s contingent is also having its camp from Sept 7 to 9 at Century Hotel and the handing over of state colours is expected to be graced by Chief Minister of Sarawak during his visit to the athletes there.
