Hock Seng Lee event sees 60 pct Semi-D units offered booked
KUCHING: Hock Seng Lee achieved better than expected results during its Merdeka Sales @ Highfields event, with bookings on 60 per cent of its semi- detached units on offer.
The on- going promotion held at phase two of the residential development along Jalan Batu Kawah began on Friday.
HSL also held a corporate social responsibility programme offering free medical check-ups together with Shine Pharmacy.
“Almost half of our bookings were on Friday — we knew straight away we were on to a good weekend,” said general manager Ling Lai Kiong in a press release yesterday.

Corporate affairs manager Shirley Loo said affordability played a big part in the weekend’s brisk sales.
“We designed this campaign around a market survey. For Highfields, we are waiving legal fees and stamp duty for sales and purchase agreements, memorandum of transfer and charge, as well as offering zero down payment,” she said.
“We made sure to emphasise on large land sizes. We have kept to only eight homes per acre, even though new rules allow 10 homes per acre. We want to create the best value-for-money homes.”
Semi- detached homes at Highfields II are priced from RM599,000.
Terraced homes with internal courtyards are also available.
The show house, which is priced at RM778,888, is open for viewing daily from 10am to 5pm.
