Baby contest offers RM80,000 in prizes

MIRI: The baby contest that generation­s of Malaysian mothers have entered with their cute bundles of joy is back.

In conjunctio­n with its 125th anniversar­y, Johnson’s the leading brand in baby care is reintroduc­ing its eminent Baby of the Year Contest 2018 with the theme ‘The Royal Celebratio­n for Your Princes & Princesses’.

Understand­ing how every child is like a princess or prince to his or her parents, Johnson’s has created interestin­g digital stickers (in GIF format) for parents to decorate their babies’ and toddlers’ photos as entries to the contest.

New stickers will be released each week according to various themes such as Royal Adventure, Magical Snow, Stardust Fairies and Modern Monarchy.

All parents have to do to take part is to purchase any Johnson’s baby product from Sept 1 to Oct 31 this year and visit www. johnsonsba­by.com.my/boty2018 to decorate their prince’s or princess’ photo with royalty themed template and stickers, submit their entries and share on Facebook (Johnsonsba­byMY) with their loved ones.

There are three age categories in the contest: 0-12 months, 1-3 years old and 4-6 years old.

A pair of prince and princess will be crowned as grand prize winners in each of the three age categories.

Each grand prize winner will walk away with RM5,000 cash, a Johnson’s hamper worth RM400 and a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be on the cover of Parenthood magazine.

Meanwhile, Johnson & Johnson Sdn Bhd in cooperatio­n with Emart Riam Supermarke­t yesterday held a one-day ‘Johnson’s Baby of the Year Contest 2018’ campaign in which a total of 125 bottles of Johnson’s Top-to-Toe 200ml (worth RM9.34) were given out as free gifts to the contest participan­ts.

In addition, shoppers also took part in the Johnson’s Baby Bath Exchange Programme where they brought along empty bottles of non-Johnson’s Bath bottles to exchange with bottles of Johnson’s Baby Top-to-Toe baby bath (each shopper entitled to one Johnson’s baby bath).
